Ah gotcha iajafer!

Yeah, think I was teaching about Campylobacteriosis one day when I chose my online moniker. I didn't want my name to be shortened by people to "Campy" so went for Camby instead. Think that's how it happened

The Newcastle AM/F RC (but if you play him at AM R, he'll run off and tell his mum about you) is not a tw@t.

He's a twunt.

Aha, common misconception there, bacteria-bloke (do you know you've misspelled "campylobacter", btw? )

The transfer screen isn't the Player and Staff Screen, it's the one that lists every player transferred, released and loaned over the past month, and is updated monthly.

Although using the Player and Staff (Famous, in _your_ area...) and over-filtering is frowned upon, too

I have to say i'm a zealot on that one. I don't use the Player and Staff screen for buying players either. I stick to scout reports, media reports and very occasionally if an opponent has caught my eye. The only time i use that screen is players listed for loan, and even then i scout them first, which usually means someone has snapped them up by the time my scouts get round to seeing them.

Again, i do wonder if that is taking things too far, as the search is for realism, not to make things harder than they already are.

But something mentioned here is interesting me. Is there such an animal as the "transfer list"? Being a footie-ignorant yankee, I have always wondered if there is a published list of players available for transfer that clubs send in to the FA on a regular basis. Or is it just a loose term the refers to each teams "list" of players they want to get rid of?

Oh by the way, sorry if I repeated most of Ian's earlier post with my ranting.

Just shows how well he's brainwashed me.

Anyway, c'mon you Hibees.......that's right isn't it master? :p

Never mind brainwashed, you do know people have been sectioned for less than that don't you?

"Danish forum-member unlurking straight ahead captain!"

As for the subject of scouting Scandinavia, I don't know about Norway or Sweden, but you can fly for less than 20 pounds to Esbjerg, Denmark from Stanstead if you plan in advance. Once there, you are within 2 hours distance of all the Danish clubs in Jutland. FC Midtjylland, AGF, AAB, Viborg, Randers, Esbjerg just to mention the one's in the topflight, as well as countless others outside.

Quite possibly (and welcome to the latest ex-lurker), but how many Danish footballers would be willing to leave home to play for a conference league team in England for 100 Euros per week?
