Season 05/06-

Battle bravely against relegation is what the board wanted me to do. It seems I would not even manage that at first, 1 point out of 18. -8 goal difference. Then it started...

Greenock Morton were the leaders at the moment, after a bad spell I realised I needed a win to have a chance now. I was losing 1-0 until the 70th minute, head in hands I left the room for a moment. When I came back in I had equalised! Another 5 minutes later and I scored a 40 yard strike to win the match.

It started going right for me from then, after 25 games I had 40 odd points and was 3rd with my goal difference now at 0. I was clawing my way back, although I did not expect this.

Forfar who were first at this moment in time thought I could be trampled over and put out a reserve team! The scoreline ended 3-0 to me! This was the start of the best 6 matches I have had!

I was a promotion definate with 3 games left and needed just a draw to be champions, unfortunately it was my rivals Breichin I was to play, they gave me a tough game but it ended 1-1!

I jumped around the room in celebration. Montrose had won the second division! They had not done that since the days of 1985!

Off I go with my £30k transfer budget and an update is to come very soon!

Though I'm not sure about this jumping round the room when you win kinda thing.

If people new we did that they would think were mad or something, so keep it quiet.

No worries. Jumping around is fairly normal. Punching holes in the air happens on a very regular basis

Do anybody else talk to your players through the screen, tell them where to pass it and stuff, or am I just mad?
