I remember when Fantasy Football was in it's peak on BBC2, and they'd often have a little skit where they would say hello to a footballer with a strange name.

Can't can't go wrong with Kids cartoon charactors Matt. Clarence the Clown up front was a favorite of mine.

I had a poster one day that named his complete squad, including his U19's complete with season ending stats. It must of taken him an age to type up, and I didn't have the heart to just cdelete the whole thread. I went through each named player and changed the name to something more "appropiate". Towards the end I was scraping the barrell, and from memory I think even Maggie Thatcher got a run.
