Might be the Euro Vase in the game Ian, but it's still the UEFA Cup.

Anyway, KUTGAuldFirmsplitting. But it would be better if it were beating...

Is this the official "Hijack a Mods" thread?

Thanks Craig. Call me uneducated or unwordly, or just an Aussie, but what the hell is a Kagool?

A light Jacket which can be easily stored away and brought out when it is windy.

Here is your one.

Whichever. I'm too far off them at the moment to care.

Ahh I see...Certainly looks like something a poofy Englishman would design.

Safe to say it has been folded up and stored with my trustee jaffle iron, which I might add is looking very rusty. Hasn't had a workout in a long long time.

Well, we didn't manage to split the Auld Firm this season, far from it.

After the split we were in the midst of a downhill run faster than the Cresta. Back to back defeats by Celtic, Hibs and Rangers saw our asperations slipping from SPL Title to Uefa Cup spot at the best.

We'd bombed out of the Scottish Cup at the first attempt, soundly beaten by Rangers, but reached the final of the League Cup, where we lost out on penalties to Hibs.

The Champions' Cup proved an interesting sideshow, with the 3rd qualifying round seeing us beat Feyenoord 2-0 at a reduced capacity Dens Park and then beating them 4-1 in Rotterdam. The Group Stage was a bit of a shocker, teaming us with Holders Arsenal, Ajax and Deportivo la Coruna.

However 2 wins over Deportivo, a win and a draw with Ajax and a draw and a loss against Arsenal earned us a 1st knockout stage against Bayen. Two MoM performances by the Bayern goalie saw us beaten at Dens and drawing in Munich, but it was a lucrative run with £880k for performances, £2.7m for the Group Stage and £1.9m TV money swelling our coffers considerably.

Back to the League, though.

Two games to go, one against Celtic and the other against Dundee United...who'd held an Indian sign over us all season...and we whumped Celtic 4-1 at home and beat United 2-1 away and sneaked in to win the SPL Title at the death.

With the sale of a couple of players for decent dosh and the SPL prize money, CL earnings and the dosh from the League Cup I chanced a request for training facility improvement...and the Board okayed it and expanded the Stadium by 7770 seats, at least it will be in 6 months. They expanded by 5000 last season, too.

I've turned down Celtic, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday to stay at Dundee...but if the Jambos offer....
