The problem, Alurny, arises when you consider if a scandanavian player would move to Worksop for 20 quid and packet of crisps a week.
Your queston has raised a question for me, however.
If a foreign scout applies for your job via the job centre, is he expecting to move to wherever you are or is he thinking about being your scout in his location?

The question to ask is "could your Club afford it?"
Would they have the reputation to hire a foreign scout from a foreign country?
Simple answer would be no. You'd just be using it to make the game easier.

The Job Centre's extremely flawed, Julian. I have Nigerians expressing an interest in AssManning Conference South Clubs, then asking £8k a week wages.
It's a good idea, but in practice it's crap.

It really would not be considered in a true LLM game, we do tend to stick to SCWYT and SYB. If however you were Swedish and managing in the UK say, sending a scout once a year to Sweden would probably be acceptable.
Again, some in here scout Scotland regularly regadless of where they are managing.

Don't you love when the applicant wants more than you could ever possibly afford?
It's a bit different with scouts though, and although my question only really applies once you've gone up a few divisions, should we be treating overseas scout applicants as overseas scouts, or shipping them in to wherever we are?
Would it be reasonable to consider, at higher levels, SWYCTAGAS?
(SWYCT and get a scout)

Scouts are gay anyway! They are great in the ECS/N because the players they return as crap and you can get away with it. In any of the other leagues IMO they provide you with rubbish or nothing at all. Not being able to raid the transfer market like every other AI club does makes things interesting. It's annoying when all other clubs sign free transfers but your scout has somehow 'missed' them!! |

If I ever reach the premiership (and it won't be with the club I started with), it will be SWYFL. |
