Started a new season as Bradford Park Avenue (First season - game arrived yesterday)

Had a fairly decent pre-season. Got my top earners to accept lower paying contracts, struggling to get new staff though - both playing and coaching.

A little more detail on my pre-season. Started with a 3-0 defeat to Newport County. Two 0-0 draws followed before we found the net. Pre-season ended with a 2-0 win over Gateshead.

I've managed to pick up a couple of players on free transfers, I also signed a Bradford lad and former City player as a player / coach.

*Cry-baby Pooflander* applied for the assistant manager role which is still not filled as I can't afford much for the wages (I didn't offer him the job this time as I didn't want him to distract the players - I may change my mind if I can't find anybody else)

I'm new to the LLM bit yeah. Been around the forums for a few years. I picked Park Avenue as I didn't want to move - I live quite close to Bradford and the wife's happy in her job. Don't need the hastle of a move on top of a new job

I've had a quick look at the guidelines etc. Do I have to stick to ALL the rules?!?

The guys I re-negotiated with are good club men and they took lower wages (albeit with much better bonuses and a longer duration) for the good of the club!

Rules - yes. Guidelines - a certain amount of flexibility. Wha rules do you have a problem with?
