Howdy y'all,i'm a relative newbie to LLM,i used to do it occasionally in CM but i have taken my first stab at it in FM with the might of Harrogate Town.
I have a question to ask ye experienced LLM managers ; Are player ratings in the lower leagues worse than in higher leagues?
What i mean is,a good game for a Premiership player may mean a rating of 8,but does a good game for a LL player mean a rating of 7 as they obviously arent as good as Premiership players?
I only ask this because i am currently playing well and winning matches with Harrogate, but my player ratings seem awfully low, fortunately the opposition's have been lower so far.
A bit silly question. The match ratings are relative. By this i mean that the game takes into account how your LL players are doing against the LL players of your opponents and rates them out of 10.
Like the Greek Welcome Committee said, jonners. The ratings are relative to the game you're playing, so a player who gets a 9 in the Conference South may get a negative mark if he transferred to ManUre
Your team only deserve to be ranked out of 2 because you're in the Conference South. You can get a rating of 1 or 2
If it worked, it would actually be more useful than the current ratings which seem to be 7 all the fecking time How can my side get thrashed 3-0 and still all get ratings of 7? Someone had to have been crap, surely?
I have a suspicion that games ratings are biased too much by the consistency attribute rather than on games stats, with yellows docking 1 mark and goals adding 2. I have recently taken charge of a Liverpool side in last 4-5 games of the season all of which lost with my team actually outplaying the opposition in terms of shots, tackles, possession, etc and all players getting consistent 7s and odd 8s so why losing? Also looking at after match stats it's difficult to see sometimes why a particular player is deemed to have performed better than another when the other has seemed to be a key performer during highlights.
Goalie ratings are a bit fecked too. Especially if he concede from few shots fired. Fair enough if he should have saved it. But a goalie often gets 5 for conceding pens and tap-ins, and morale then dumping to very poor. Or my goalies are simply just crap
