"Angus MacCoach has told Willie that his grandmother runs the 100m faster than he does"

Funny you should post that because I too saw that for the first time yesterday on a rare foray into the training screen!

Funny thing is though my coach said that about my F R/C who has pace 14!

Yeah this keeper of mine who prompted that message had a decent pace as well. I supposed it to mean he wasn't trying very hard

lol. i've heard of other things like that in previous CM games. in one version if you nicknamed one of your players with the name of a few select people in the games credits and requested a coach report you got some, lets say, interesting responses

Here's my 'in-game funny':

My very first purchase for Bradford PA was an old midfield warhorse to give a bit of experience to a squad full of kids. He could barely manage half a game a fortnight but he gave good service and became our first fans' favourite; he's still listed 3 years on. In the close season I got a grand for him from his favourite club Mansfield.

Last night I had a game against Mansfield who dropped a division as I climbed into the Conf National. Imagine my surprise when I saw our old 39 year old hero lined up against us. He lasted the full 90 minutes to and yet .....

When I checked his profile I was stunned to see almost all his physical stats were 1 - that's pace, acceleration, strength and stamina amongst others. I think the technical term for that is 'dead'. :eek:

I've had a player saying that he wants to go to a bigger club, so he moves from woking to Yeading (2006/07 season on my game). :eek:

Yeading bigger than Woking? Don't think so.

Yeh, when your rating goes down to 1 you're 'media-shy'. This can only happen if you bombard the media with negative comments all the time - hardly 'shy'. Like Ron Atkinson and Rodney Marsh are 'media shy'
