Aahh, time I thinks to start my first update thread.
Suprise, the team i've taken control of is Woking. I have had this game running for two and a half seasons so for the first two i'll summarise.

LDV - sucks
2005/06 - Conference National

Playoffs - finalist again
FA Cup - Fourth Round, lost to Ipswich 3-0, but the money has come in handy
FA Trophy - Third Round, lost to Burton Albion 2-1
LDV - Still sucks
2006/2007 - midseason update

Title Odds - 2-1 joint Favorites with stevenage
Fans and board expect us to avoid relegation.
Pre season went OK-ish, apart from losing one of my main strikers to a cruciate injury, and is now just returned to light training. The FA cup run had given me a boost to the coffers, as did the sale of some of the unwanted, useless and uncommited twats. Some of the money obviously went on strengthening the first team, along with the free transfers.
The beginning of the season didn't look too rosey until my one armed keeper decided to break an arm. So in came a resonable one, which took me to the top, where I stayed for ten or so games. I went on a 5 game winless run, followed by several wins in a row. Now in the middle of january, looking at a couple of defenders and a keeper which I have on trial. Might even let the moths out of the wallet and nick someones centre-back.
Currently lying 3rd  (again) in the table

FA Trophy - Still in it, reserves doing me proud!
Vans Suck Arse - Lost in the semis, 2-0 vs Cambridge Utd, and only go 15 grand for the effort!

I've got to get it in the next few seasons, just in case the game does the same as woking did IRL in the 90's
Won 19, Drew 7, Lost 16, GF 89(), GA 69, Points 64
At the end of the last update, I were sitting in third. It was going fine until mid-february when we went on a four game losing run, which dropped us down to sixth, with Dagenham and Margate one and two points ahead respectivly. We were there or thereabouts, popping in and out of the playoffs up until the last day, with a game against Dagenham & Redbridge. They needed to win to get into the playoffs, I needed to draw. I lost 3-2 due to a 94th minute penalty. ()
Cups were just as bad, getting knocked out in the fifth round of the Trophy by Carlisle in a replay. Six games for the price of 3.
Averag attendance dropped to 1128, a loss of 560. Very quiet.
Turned down job offers from Huddersfield(L1), Hartlepool(L2) and a small, and previously unknown to me club called Chieti(Serie C2/B).

The season started of crap, with one point taken from the first seven games. Which meant a struggle up the table all season. The only real highlight of the season was signing my new star striker, who had been on loan for the past season and a half, with the funds made available due to Nottingham Forest stealing my star striker off me via the minimum fee clause.
Oh well, Things Can Only Get Better.
I also had a stupid amount of offers during the season, with them being Northampton x2(L1), Cheltenham x2(L2), Huddersfield (L1), Swansea (L2), Exeter ()(CON) and Stevenage ()(L2)
