My DR actually did a similar thing some seasons ago. Liverpool (  ) were murdering me, and were 1-0 up. Then my DR made what looked like a tackle fairly close to the cornerflag. Ball flies far over everybody's heads. Keeper comes rushing out, *bouncy* and GOAAAAL! 
Was lovely to steal a point :thup:

I've scored a goal from a drop kick out of my hands IRL, equalising in a cup final which we went on to win 4-1.
Quite surreal moment to see your kick bounce over a somewhat stupid oppo keeper. Having never scored before my celebration was rather lame!

i just go for the Manure dane's approach. Go up for corners, hit a 18 yard volley. Or take the set-pieces.
Then again, most of the time, people we play against argue who is to go in goal!

Playing in goal for my school, when I was about 8, on a very small pitch, I threw the ball to our striker. Except he missed it and then the ball nutmegged their keeper, to go straight in from my throw.
The ref (local vicar, if I recall) disallowed my goal, incorrectly I believe. From that point in my life, I became a bitter atheist.
