I have just taken charge of Stalybridge Celtic in the Conference North and badly need a coach, I have foundan overweight alcoholic ex-England midfielder is available as a player/coach but want to stay in keeping with the LLM rules, do you think they can stretch to him??

Player naming...
Generally, I'd say that if you found a player/coach when looking for a coach, then offer him a coaching contract only.
How did you "find" him, out of interest? Did he apply to an advert, or did you do a search on non-playing staff?
Also, in realism terms, could Stalybridge afford the wages of an overweight alcoholic ex-England midfielder?

well i thought naming probably the most famous footballer in our country wouldnt be a problem..who hasnt heard of him..yes i did a search of unemployed coaches.
Boston afforded his wages didnt they, although i suppose they arent quite as little as Stalybridge..maybe ill steer clear, hmm

If he was found in a legitimate way, he's fair play. Can't see what the mix-up is.

Feck off, Dennis. No player naming means no player naming.

Oooh, cheeky.
Read the forum header, you might notice player naming is banned.
