I'm not a mod, so it wasn't me. I see what you did with my name there: very childish. Now fuck off.

Firstly, he is a coach. And secondly...

Quote:
Player naming - NO Exceptions

The reason behind this rule is locally known as The Floodgate Scenario. Lower League Managers rely almost exclusively on their Scouts to find players to grace their squad, they don't want to see names of players found by other Managers in posts on LLM.

New arrivals to LLM have in the past seen the names of regens or famous current players in posts and have decided that it's okay to post "Buy Player X, he's a great goalie" or "Player Z will net 140 goals a season" and be routinely flamed by regulars.

Name one player and it opens the floodgates for dozens of others.

For this reason there is no player naming in LLM - NO Exceptions
NO mention of coaches in there, i was merely asking if it was ok to sign someone of Gazza's stature or if it was frowned upon. If u want to be pedantic, i will be.

Thirdly, kiss my arse if you are upset that i have named an up and coming gem of a player that you could sign for your squad, because we all know what a crock of pedantic ***** that sounds like.

Ah, but there are those who are playing older incarnations of CM on this board, so in their games he is a "player". Hence no player naming at all.

But as you're such a simple minded moron, this is obviously beyond you.

And i'm hardly upset. I feel sorry for your parents having such a turd for a son.

Err, what do you think NO exceptions stands for? It means any player. Any player at all. Even ex players.

Secondly, naming a coach in the way you did is tipping. Or is that also not clear enough?

Thirdly, take the advice of the regulars. Starting a slagging match will only get you in trouble, trust me on that one.

Still, you've got to be a bit of a 'turd' to think a at the peak of his career on a champ manager set in say 96/97 is going to possibly sign for a LLC havent you, peasant?

Now do you see how stupid your comments are? oh yes, the realization comes slowly for people with sub human intellects

Did your mummy smoke too many cigarettes when you were in her tummy, Dennis?

Not at the beginning of the game, no. But who knows what could happen to him in the next few years, he could even go off and play for a Chinese team. OH MY GOD HE DID!

Perhaps if my mum had smoked a little less when she was pregnant, yes, i might have the intelligence you clearly display (mum jokes not withstanding)

I have just taken charge of Stalybridge Celtic in the Conference North and badly need a coach, I have foundan overweight alcoholic ex-England midfielder is available as a player/coach but want to stay in keeping with the LLM rules, do you think they can stretch to him??
This was my original question, a simple 'we frown upon signing coaches who are ex england internationals' or 'go for it, nothing wrong with that in LLM at all' would have done nicely, instead i get a steady stream of abuse because i named the ex england international, instead of calling him PG, or calling him an overweight alcoholic, you should hear yourselves... And I have the limited intellect!!
