I bought FM 2008 the other day, i'm Scottish but live in Warsaw, the Polish version only has Polish and Czech languages on it.

Someone told me that i could download the English language from somewhere....is this true???

Also when i download the language how do i get it on to the game, i can only download from work as i have no internet access at home.

Please help me if you can...i'm desperate to play FM 2008.

IIRC the first full patch of FM2007 had the language packs with it.

If SI do that again then all you have to do is wait for the patch to be released, which could be a couple of weeks away still.


I'm not sure what the legalities are in downloading the English demo and using the language pack from that is. I believe that it has worked for previous version, but I don't know if it will work with FM08.


One piece of advice, don't post all in capitals.

I read somewhere that you can use the language pack from the demo on the full game. Assume you just put the file from the demo in the relevant folder in the full game.

Amazon don't ship to Poland.

I thought that the Polish version would have English on it.

Surely there must be a way of getting the english pack on to my polish game??

I've already bought the game so there no need to get another, i've downloaded the demo and ill try and put the eglish language into my language folder tonight...fingers crossed.
