Do player settings over-ride team settings

For example you have your team set at 'All out Attack' but each of your players are set at 'Ultra Defensive'. I assume this means the team is actually playing ultra-defensive?

I cant remember where I read it or whether or not SI confirmed it but IIRC individual settings over ride team ones except for the team mentality slider which when set to the extreme values of Ultra Defensive or Ultra Attacking overrides the individual mentality.

Exactly correct.

I thioght the two work together. Individual mentality effects the player position and passing mindset and the team mentality is an overall setting. You'll notice that individual settings have 20 nothes and the team one has 22 notches on the sliders. That's my understanding anyway.
