Ok 2014 in my game and Wigan (Championship side) receive a 10 point deduction for going into receivership. (ok no biggie, I understand this) So just got me curious as to how the other teams around were doing financially, Blackpool (League One) is bankrupt and I am 99% sure I noticed them in receivership as well, yet no deduction. A couple of Serie B teams that I am 100% sure were in receivership without deductions. Anyway my question is what are the rules for this? All the other teams bailed themselves out quickly, so do you have a time frame to get out of receivership before getting hit with the 10 point shot?

The 10 point reduction rule is an English one as far as I know, hence why the Italian clubs don't have it.

I would check Blackpool again and if they are in receivership put it in the bugs forums.

its 9 points in the prem, I see it happen once or twice most seasons.

thanks for the answers, and well past Blackpool being in debt again, they have Okay finances now Very good to know, the thing I love about this game the most is watching teams either rise or fall from obscure places or from greatness Still waiting on one of the big 4 to falter. In my 07 game I think it took until about 2025 before it happened.
