Default Is anyone else worried about the new patch?
Not complaining about the game etc! or when the patch will arrive!

I'm just worried about the effect it will have on my game. I'm 5 seasons in and starting to build Birmingham into one of the top English sides. it has nearly taken my 3 seasons to get my tactics right! But I've been here before! When I bought the game, when the first beta patch came out, then the next one and then patch 8.01. I had very good games going and then the patch changed it for me, I no longer understood the AI, match engine etc.

Has anyone else considered this?

No, but then as I don't have FM 2008 it isn't something I'm going to worry about!

Ha ha ha, I was away traveling for a year when FM2007 came out so I never really got into. Is it really much better than 08 or are you waiting for it all to be patched!

Yeah it may be the case! I'll probably just wait till I finish this game and when I start a new one I'll patch it!

I always wait until my current game is finished before applying a new patch. Patching a save game always leads to fishy things.

I'm more worried about the players that have all moved...

Going to have to look for cheaper alternatives once the new patch comes out...

the patched game is much better than the unpatched game in my opinion, I couldn't deal with the no closing down in the unpatched game.
