The board keep saying this to me.What exactly does it mean??

How can I correct this??

That's a good question.
I've had this before too, in ridiculous circumstances :-
Took over Tottenham in the Championship.
Board wanted Euro qualification within 5 years.
Got them promoted first season.
Board disappointed I'm not doing anything to ensure the long term future of the club.
Weird!

I would assume it is related to the finances of the club.

Long term future generally means finances. If you win promotion by vastly increasing the wage bill the board may well consider that as not safeguarding the long term future of the club, especially if you have a cautious or unambitious chairman who fails to see the bigger picture of more money in the Premiership.

Mebee you have a chairman who is ever haunted by the possibility of your club "doing a Leeds"

i've never had this message before, then again the fact i hardly ever buy players, when i do they are under £5m and under 21 is probably why.

It's not about finances though.
They are happy with the current financial situation.Thats the main point of my management that they are happy with!
