I'm hearing all this talk about "send your scouts three of four times." Is that necessary, I mean, I send my scout just once and he comes back with pretty much all the information I need. Just to see what he would uncover again, I send him, and he still comes back with what he previously said, '<Scout> believes that <player> would be a worthwile signing."

Can someone please straighten this out for me?!

If you send your scout to 'scout for one match'

It will bring back more accurate results, the report will have info such as -

'Player X is the strongest striker in squad, Player Y isn't far from that standard. He will be 3rd best striker if he were to join the club' etc

Also it will bring info such as if he wants to join, how much wages he want and what price you might be able to buy him for.

I scout players once, if they are 'good' signing and above (great asset, sign at all costs) I scout them further to get more info.
Scouts can get it wrong just bringing back a report card, it will not contain much info.
