Akinfeev goes forward for the corner after I set the mentality all out attack. The corner is whipped in by Nasri and who gets on the end of it? Who else but Akinfeev, however the referee blows his whistle as he has spotted he tried to punch the ball into the goal. A nice try by the goalkeeper who seemingly forgot you can only handle in your own area. A straight red and a 2 week fine swiftly follows.
In real life keepers are usually sent off for handling the ball outside the area, since it would constitute denying a clear goal scoring opportunity.
The keeper handling the ball when he's gone forward for a corner is very unusual. I've never seen it it the game or real life. I can understand why the game inteprets it that way, but I bet it drove you nuts at the time!
Not sure he should have been sent off though as this was only a hand ball. They would have to make an amazing shot for that to have gone in i think that should have been just a yellow and i would have thought that its a bug as this would never happen in the real game
