I have to say, reading a few thread on the forum, It's getting pretty useless reading about the 'little changes', for example, agents doing scandolous and stupid things, shots coming off the crossbar etc. First of all, I don't want anyone to feel like I'm criticizing their ideas, but come on. If a shot hitting the crossbar will make get you intrigued in playing the game more than the 5 hours you spend daily, you might as well take up a job at SI and spend your day making those 'subtle changes' and enjoying yourself. To add, if a player hits the ball in some sort of way that it hits the crossbar, he will hit it, there's no need of adding 'player hits the crossbar' into the match engine, because then he would just hit it frequently and randomnly, and personally, I don't find that intriguin. So no offence to the bright people who suggest these changes, but let's just concentrate on real issues that the game lacks, and not 'how about players come down with skin cancer because the were out in the sun too long."
P.S - In advance, I'm sorry if you're offended, I just felt like I had to get that out.
I'm sorry, but I disagree with you entirely. The game as it stands is thoroughly enjoyable and so I for one would like to see more "subtle changes". We can't expect a game full of sweeping changes, so we normally see one or two major changes, some moderate changes and hundreds of subtle or minor changes.
I'm in between the first 2 posters, as I believe there are flaws that should be addressed first before less important fluffy bits get added and sold to us as game improvements. The last innovation in the series was the introduction of the 2D match engine.
So while the Facegen thing is a nice add-on, it doesn't make up for flaws in the match engine (and I don't just mean the 1-on-1 issue).
