In my first season as manager in which I took over midway through I had zero to spend and the club recorded a loss of £300k. The following season due to a combination of player sales, good runs in the cup including bumper crowds vs Blackburn, Reading and Yeovil + TV money, and increased prize money for a higher league finish I recorded a profit of 500k. Now bearing that in mind I was rubbing my hands at the prospect of a reasonable transfer kitty for the coming season. But what did I get? Not a penny. In fact I can only keep 10% of any transfer fees again, which is after the miserly b*st*rd forced me to sign a new contract. I have a slightly increased wage budget, but where has the £500k gone? Nothing that can be done about it (except accepting the first job offer I get, that'll show him), anyone got similar or more miserly chairmen to comment on?
