i had a wiked youth player who i decided to sell rather than constantly load him for a few years. anyway i put a £10m buyback clause in it. so sampdoria bid for him a few season after i sold him so i bid the £10m to get him back. newcastle didnt even bother accepting my bid!! he went 2 sampdoria. ok he may have prefered to go there (for the love of god i dnt know why) but i should have atleast had my bid accepted so i could discuss personel terms. and no i didnt change my offer to end of season or anything it was straight cash.

ok set a deadline next time, because they HAVE to respond to the deadline, and if it is a clause and therefore unrefusable then they cannot reject it

maybe your right but in principle they can't refuse it so it should have been accepted straight away.

Was date of transfer set to "Immediate"?

I tried to buy back Antonio Barragan from Depor for Liverpool (£475k buy-back clause), but set transfer date to "End of Season" which was rejected. So I set it to Immediate and they accepted.

I had a few problems with teams not coming back to me.

For example I bid £10m for Woodgate same as Man City, they accept City's bid but no response on my one. He ends up going to City and I didnt even offer a contract!

Also a team accepts a bid for a player, but negotiates a ridiculous amount when I bid for the player, causing me to pay over the odds or look for someone else.
