I DL a new incident popup and copied over the fm2006/data/graphics/pitch/popup folder and now during a match everytime there is an incident the game closes and says cannot find font resource : fonts/jedi solid. I would reinstall the game but my kids scratched the hell outta the disc and i only have the back up i made to my hard drive. Seeing as the new version will be out soon i don't see the point in going out and re-buying the 2006 game, so is there any way i can sort this problem?

Theres a few pages and an installation guide there aswell

DLed your popup but still get the same problem. You think it may have something to do with me having 'use skin cache' off?

Whats happened is the first new popup i Dled said to copy the entire folder over the old one, but cause i've done that i think i may have deleted some file that has this font thingy in it. In my popup folder (main one, not one for my new skins) all i have are pics of the different parts of the popup. What happens in game is that the top of the popup comes up with icons but no writing such as the players name. If you could look at your popup folder and tell me if all you have is the parts of the popup or if theres something else in the it would help no end.

its a font you have loaded in whatever skin you are using!!
the skin requires font/jedi solid to work.. and its not on your machine

I know what your saying but no matter what popups i've Dled since i copied over the folder they all have the same problem so i can't see how it's the popup. I'm trying my 5th popup and it's still doing it!!!

Its NOT the popup... its the skin you are using with your FM...
Try changing the skin back to the default one.. and it should work ..
Bascially someone has made a skin.. you have downloaded it. and they have not included the jedi font used in the skin

Right, i searched the internet and found the font i need, where do i need to put it for it to work? You were right all along i think, no one likes to be wrong, but i am.
