HIYA. i was just wondering how do u create an XML config file i need to make 1 for some kits any help would be gratefull thanks

Open notepad, and use this as a record for kits

<record from="<home_kit>" to="graphics/pictures/team/<unique_ID>/kits/home"/>
<record from="<away_kit>" to="graphics/pictures/team/<unique_ID>/kits/away"/>
<record from="<third_kit>" to="graphics/pictures/team/<unique_ID>/kits/third"/>

save as config.xml

Try using existing config files as a template or add your records for your new kits to them :thup:

i made a new config folder and placed all the necessary config lines. But when i try to open the config file i get a message saying

End tag 'list' does bot match the 'start' tag record ERROR so i am i bit confused and dont know what to do to correct the problem. any ideas??

Put your kit pictures in graphics - pictures - kits - clubs - eng - other.

now go back into the eng folder and edit the config file with what sean_oc16

you should find where to put because it says <-- Other --> at the bottom

i did the above then when i opened the config in notepad i could not find were to put the new config lines. And i cant see were it says
<--other--> at the bottom.

the congig line i want to add is

<record from="barcelona_third" to="graphics/pictures/team/1708/kits/third"/>

i need to know were i have to put the above config line when editing the config. cheers

Go to the 'C:/......./kits/clubs/esp' folder, then open the config file and add the line below the Barcelona home and away kits.

hi there i tried to make a league one creased kit pack. I put all the pics in and unquie ids over the top of a championship confiq file. I just copied and pasted and replaced the files.I then saved my config file as config.xml and put it inside with the kits. I then placed in folder - kits/eng/league 1. When i load fm a big error box comes up saying xml parsing error, then another error saying not well formed line 62!! any ideas
