Basically i wanted to edit few things before i start the game and i wanted to know if it will affect the game or anything? i'm kinda scared...lol

so if i edit anything, do i over-write the database? or save as a new one?

Also, i did try and edit the attendance for newcastle and the minimum and maximum but when i played some games to test it, it only came up with 33250, where as it should of been around 60,000.

It wont save over The Default, there is a new method in fm07 for edited databases.

Go ahead edit what you want and when your done go to 'file' then select 'save as..'.
a window will then appear allowing you to name it, add a desciption. fill it out and click ok. exit the editor.
Then when you start a new game you will get the option to pick a database, i.e 'default' or 'whatever you saved your edited version as' simply pick the one you made and voila...

OK, sounds an easy answer but why the hell does my FM07 not pick up my edited db when I choose it in preferences? Am getting very annoyed now!

Actually I can't seem to find the option to choose the database when starting a new game either! Where is it?

as soon as you click 'new game' there are 4 lines. on the first line it has database and you just click where it says 'default' and change it to whatever you made
