i heartily apologise if i am being a fool, but is it possible for me to transfer a saved game from one computer to another?

football manager is installed on both, i'm just quite far with a low league team and don't want to start again on the new computer which is faster and will make the game run smoother. good ol' christmas presents.

Provided the database is identical on both computers, you just need to copy the save game file.

If the database is different (after edits and such), you'll need to copy the entire db folder over as well.

but supposing i've only installed the game on the newer computer, then it's just a case of copying the saved game folder?

no shortlist/tactics/training folders being transferred?
