Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

If a player is classed as reasonable on a certain foot is it ok to play in that position

Where does cut off point start

If a player has a weak right foot but has a natural position of MR/AMR, i would still play him on the right wing. Doesn't Messi have a stronger left foot but still plays towards the right flank for Barca?

Dc's probably don't matter much...

Phil Neville has played DL most of his life though being right footed, so that doesn't seem to be much of a problem either... just go with their positions, and in case you have two options chose the one you think fits best with the way you want to play...

A right footed player on the left side might get more opertunities to shoot at a good angle, while a left footed on the same side might get better crossing opertunities.
