It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Dubious goals

Ok it comes to something when the opposition manager or a player from their team complains after that match that my team shouldn't of had a penalty or a free kick which you score from, and want you to comment on it, how the heck can you tell even by looking at a replay, as all I can see is 2 round things kinda close.
You can give a comment if a dodgy offside leads to a goal, but dodgy fouls are different. Hey one thing Ive never seen is an out field player handling the ball in fm07, and its happening more and more in the English game plus elbows in the face, a couple of my players have got sent off for kicking players, but thats about it. It would be intersting to know if anyone have had players sent off for elbowing.

I've had someone sent of for punching. I'm sure elbowing will be in there.

Elbowing is definitely there. I've had tried them before and you will get sent off immediately.

Quite true tbh. Always have dubious goals/penaltys and asked for a comment in the media later. Heck, as if I can tell if there is any foul when I can only see 2 dots of different colours beside each other.

Elbows happen, though sometimes it's a red, sometimes a yellow depending on the severity/referee. Pretty realistic.

Hand balls happen. I got a player sent off for hand ball on the half-way line as he was counter-attacking once. And that's not even a red card offence!

You're right it's incredibly difficult if not impossible to tell. So, decide for yourself. Do you want to back your players and complain, deflect attention by saying nothing, or back the referee? Your call. I go for the no comment option everytime.

In my experience, the referee is nearly always right, so there's no point in complaining.

your assistant manager usually notifies you of the type of foul committed, wether it's cynical or not etc. and then you can decide to appeal and so on if needs be

Most of the time my assistant says "its up to you whether to appeal or not". Possibly my assistant isn't as good as I thought he was.
