OK I really almost never have any trouble with tactics but I have come across something really weird.
I am playing as Cisco Roma in Serie C1 and have probably the best team, but sudenlly I find my self drawing (mostly.... 'bout 10 draws in 20 legs) and loosing.
The Ai started to play the famous 3-3-2-1-1 and so I lose my great 4-4-1-1 an create a new tactic.
So the season ends and I start the new one with the new tactic from the end of the last season.
And nothing has changed at all...the results are the same + my scouts reports are ALL the same.
EVERY, and I mean EVERY team I play against is playing DEFENSIVE 4-4-2 with posesion football.
So what does this mean, I am in about half of the season and maybe won 3-4 games against that DEFENSIVE 4-4-2, that I forgor to mention often transforms in 3-3-2-1-1 again.

So can anyone at least tell me if this has ever happened to you?
yup, happens to me all the time in sweden... only way is to be really aggressive and hope or play defensive and hope havn't found a way to beat it tactically yet...
interestingly (from watching ai played games) the ai managers seem to choose a 4-3-3 against this formation to get more advanced wide players, so maybe long farrows on ML/R if playing a 4-4-2 and widening the whole thing might do it...
I don't have my swedish game anymore as I grew tired of it so I can't try it out...

Play wider, quicker with FWRs often on wide players. That should help a lot.

Thanks wwfan but thrust me that was not an issue.
I tried all of my best tactics wide one's or narrow ones with all of the variations on mentallity , CD, FWR's.....etc, but I really think that I am onto something when I say that the main problem was finance.
As I said I am going to test this tommorow by using FMM thing for the first time in my life.Yes I am felling bad about it but I will not use it on my real save on which I will resume with my current finance (gonna have to sell all of my best players) :thdn:
