Ok, I find it difficult against this formation and wondered if people have any good tips on how to combat it. It is the one that Aston Villa, Tottenham and (sometimes) Chelsea use.
The main problem I find is that their wingers that are pushed up towards the lone striker have a devastating effect. Now, I have tried a few things out such as barrows on FB's and my FB's tight marking but it doesn't seem to help me that much
However, I can never beat the teams that use it and need help, thanks for any suggestions that you may have.

We can give general tips on how to deal with certain formations, but it'd be more usefull if you could describe exactly what it is that is giving you problems when playing against that formation.
You claim the wingers have a devastating effect. How? Are the getting behind your full-back, are they just turning your full-backs inside out or..?

Ok, yeah they always seem to be able to play balls in behind the full backs even though I have them on forward runs rarely, barrowed etc. This seems to be the main problem I thnk.
Also, yeah they do get skinned but I can understand that individually they may not be able to cope with someone like Arjen Robben, who is going to skin FB's no matter what the formation.
