Ok folks, my tried and tested trusty formulae that has never let me down in most versions is back and better.
Team insturctions
mentality - attacking about half way
CF - normal
Pass - short - about half way
Temp - normal but slightly more than half
width - norm
closing - mixed
time - rarely - just off from last notch
defensive - normal, one notch up
tackling - hard
focus pass - mixed
marking - man
target - mixed
counter - ticked
the individual players are where it all happens, you will need 4 strong defenders who sit back and defend, the action starts in midfield.
1 x MC with arrow pulling him back, a good DMC will do for this and his closing down is set to often, with rarely making forward runs or anything like that.
the other MC is your creative one still set defensive and closing down often but has more freedom.
AMR/AML are the runners and creative force, rarely closing down and basically the ones to supply.
AMC is the link man, short passing, clever player who will score and assist in many goals, lots of running and through balls
this tactic has worked extremely well on most of the previous versions from cm3 onwards, at club level in PL, winning the CL with it and at international level aswell. I also won with lazio the Serie A and with Athletic Madrid I won the spanish league.
with FM07 i am now 7 games winning streak, scoring and creating loads and conceeding only 4 goals in 7 games !

Did you manager to get Arsenal a top 10 finish?
Atleast he is having a go and contributing to the forum. Which can't be said about the same sarcastic people who say the same things ever year, gets kinda boring after a while.
even though my rating doesn't show it, i been around these boards along long time, back in the days when CM had a vidi printer and worked off my amiga !
so stephanie, if you wanna have a discussion i am all for it.. what ever is on your mind sweety

Whats boring is that the forum is fast become just a list of tactics.
We might as well just have a thread that says "list your tactic here".
Gone are the days of serious tactical discussion.
I live in hope that sooner or later a thread will contain something different.
Right now it's as bad as when we just had a list of "email me the tactic at...."
With all due respect to those that do try I could come up countless tactics just like this one with just as much success.
I asked the guy basically why it was posted. He answered. He now says its a nice creative tactic that doesn't concede many goals. Fine it's worth a look as its how I like my 343 to play (which I am always trying to improve). I don't see the problem </BLOCKQUOTE>
There are plenty of discussion threads around, however we have to cater for everyone. If a post is just asking for a tactic or not had some effort in, it is closed, what more can we do?
Whats wrong with you creating the discussion, or are you more of the moaning than a act type?
If you don't like a thread, the simple logical answer would be to stay out of it no?
If you want to discuss it further by all means email me

The Superior Dekonkey 451 tactic for FM07 Post #10
I gave it a go with my Liverpool team as I think 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 will be the most successful system in FM07 (don't quote me on that I might be wrong but just my experience so far with the demo). Did ok in 1st game against Roma and being 1 up at half time set the defensive MC to hold up the ball and it seemed to work really well breaking up attacks. I like the way it plays and will keep using it for a bit. Keep it up Deyong.
