Hey after the great sucses of the "Near Post Corner Routine", i decided it was a little boring doing it for every game and team i used so varied it a little bit...
Have 2 players stay back (Smallest on the pitch and one has to be quick)
have the corners aimed towards near post
Have one player stand on far post
Have the rest of your players attack the ball from deep no matter of there size, so Send in Terry and defoe as they both serve a purpose...
I have noticed that if the ball does not clear the first defender on the near post it falls to a shhoting oppertunity for an advancing player or another corner and when it does clear the 1st man you tend to find players unmarked for the knock downs.
I have got steed Malbranque and Jermaine Defoe 9 goals each from this routine so far and King has 5 so it seems to be working...
