People are complaining that their 'worldclass' strikers are missing a lot of 1-on-1's and easy chances and that was also the case in my first season when I was using a more 'patient' tactic. I didn't have Riquelme and Iaquinta then, so that could indeed be the case, but I'd like to think there's more to it.

I'd say neither.

These tactics got me dropped out of CL in qualification against Rosenborg and out of UEFA CUp in the first playoff round. So, they are not 'supertactics'.
But they scored me a lot of goals in the spanish league, even against stronger teams.
