Well that has to be close to the perfect season, quite a jump from last seasons performances, especially due to the injury issues I had for 6 months of the season.

Managed to win the league without a single loss, won the reserve and U-18 league, and every other cup. A clean sweep

Deffo no striker problems now, finished with the first and second top league scorers in Jo and Aguero, with Laurito making an ace backup.

The recent injury problems have highlighted that I lack in good young midfielders which can be something to aim for in the summer.

Defence in for sure my weakest area, with Vanden Borre and Baines, although good, no long able to keep up with the advancing squad.

GK - Robinson / Various youth keepers
DR - Vanden Borre / Sidnei
DL - Baines / Huddlestone
DC - King / Tuia
DC - Kompany / Sidnei
MR - Lennon / Modrik (+MC)
ML - Marcelo / Aissati (+MC)
MC - Kallstrom / Schmoller
MC - Manuel Fernandes
FC - Jo / Laurito / Berbatov
FC - Aguero / Defoe

but as I have £87M to spend I shouldn't have issues finding suitable DR / DL and a replacement for Robbo.

Just downloaded the patch & spotted the 1st gaff.

There appear to be 2 Oscar Jansson’s.

1 starts at Spurs the other is a future transfer.

Didn’t know cloning was legal yet, wouldn’t mind if he was any f**king good.

Please download it guys & post your findings here.

Tottenham data issues thread

Looks like I'll have to do another Spurs edit.
paulinho - have SI changed the Spurs player stats as per your database update earlier in this thread? </BLOCKQUOTE>

Sadly No.

They've altered the positional things, added some future transfers, youth players & removed some coaches but not the attribute changes.

I've just finished putting all my Spurs Update changes on to the 7,0,1 database, I'll upload it when I'm sure I've got all the errors ironed out. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I thought that was the intent of the data issues thread, but ho hum

Thanks for sorting the db out, I may start a new game with that when you're done. KUTGW

Having my first go with Spurs - in the transfer window at the start of season two having had a surprisingly good first season (League and Euro cups). Problem is, there's a big hole in my squad at right midfield/wing; Lennon has a broken leg and is out for two to three months and Malbranque got the hump and shipped out to Roma, so my only options are Jenas, who has been pretty poor in pre season, or moving Modric out of the "hole" where he has been very productive. I'm even thinking about the 34 year old Luis Figo as a short term measure...

I have about twelve million in the bank, and can afford to blow the lot if necessary.

Yes me too, also it seems that some players have been quite drastically changed (Cardenas for example) yet we as researchers were not given an opportunity to send in new files for our clubs.

Wahoo - What do I win?

Will most likely do another season or two as I am not 100% happy with the squad, defence is too leaky for my liking - plus I have high standards.

I'll get the patch once I get bored with Spurs and move to a different (new) game. No idea who to play as though, no other team takes my fancy :-/

Spurs update edit

The 7.0.1 patch is great but there are still a number of things that need changing

List of FM2007 Spurs corrections for Spurs Update Vs2

Playing staff

Removed 1 if the 2 Oscar Jansson's.

Fixed youth players with random PA's

Stalteri
Less bravery, passing & movement
Ekotto
Raise CA & PA to be at least as good in the game as Edman, Atouba & Lee,
increase tackling, heading, jumping, 1st touch, lower long shots
Ziegler
Lower CA, composure, crossing & mental & technical stats
Gardner
Less ability at DL, lowered composure
Chimbonda
More pace, jumping, decisions, strength ability at wingback, less ability at DL, lowered crossing & dribbling
Dawson
better decisions, agression, concentration & influence, lowered ability at taking corners & freekicks
King
more pace, influence, prefers left side of centre back pairing, more CA than Carragher
CA (Current ability) increased to be slightly better Carragher
Zokora

Tainio
Less pace, more ability in ML & MR positions

Defoe has the wrong Ian Wright under his favourite staff, & as the hateful ex goon scumbag doesn't appear
to be on the database I've removed this item
Berbatov
Improved 1st touch, composure, dribbling & teamwork, lowered acceleration, pace, crossing, heading & workrate
Keane
Lowered finishing, heading, long shots, comes deep to get ball added
