I ve tryed to get out a patterns( Lennon, Cardenas, Jesus Navas, Leon, Obertan) and find a good MR/ AMR but failed till now. I ve signed Arteta at the beggining of the game and put him as a Mr. For a few game s he was great( av 8.10) after that he got injured for 2 months. He recovered fine but for the past 15 games he s been getting 7 only.

My question is : is he not a consistent performer, bad position or just a bad deal.
Please share your experience about this player.

it may because of his injury that he doesnt play well, on mine bale was injured for the same amount of time, and when he came back he was rubbish, free kicks were his highest at 15!

He plays best at AM IMO

when i had him on one game, i have to say he was inconsistent for me. sometimes he'd be a super sub and he got me a fair few hatricks playin either AMC or AMR. but other times he'd just go missing all game and do nothing.

its a pitty you couldn't land one of the others (i'd go for obertan if your on 7.02)

anyway there all better than arteta who btw plays better in an am-role

Arteta is fantastic for me at Everton. Playing on the right wing last season he had 26 assists and 11 goals

Arteta is sometimes underrated but I can understand why as he costs alot so people who buy him have high expectations.

He definitely plays better at AMC and MC. I think he's performing badly as he got injured. By the way. 8.10 avg no one can maintain that kind of average for long.
Arteta does however probably have a low consistency stat. Not sure because I don't use Scout.. But in past FMs and in real life Arteta has been inconsistent. He's now older so perhaps he will be more consistent.

Just sold him to Barca for 15 mil pound in season 4 as arteta can't fits my playing style and can't perform in AMR spot, replace him with Walcott and that kid gave me 5 goal in 5 matches

He would get better and better, it depends on your physios and coaches, oh well you've sold him lol

on my game his stats are very high but doesnt always perform, his free kicks are 19,20 on my game (someone said they were only 15 on there game). but he is a legend on my game because he scored the winner, a penalty against liverpool, last minute in the uefa cup final (2-1) and then a few days later scored the winning goal in the fa cup final against west ham with a free kick from 30 yards (3-1)
