| well from what you've said im thinking you've never tried them, try this for size then... i won the premiership and Euro Cup (not champions league, the uefa cup) with west ham WITH!!! corluka and felipe in the center of defence. Now you cant tell me that they aren't good because they were the main ones doin the defensive work, i had Bale/marcelo running down the left and zaccardo down the right which were mostly running towards opositions area rather than back in defence. corluka hardly ever gave away free kicks, he mostly made clean tackles and i hardly ever let in goals from corner kicks so obviously felipe is doing something right

he doesnt have to defend, if your an attackin team, you want him to run up the flanks, he did awsome in my west ham team that won the premiership, corluka and felipe were in the center with zaccardo on the right
