Ok, this is bloody annoying. Anyone know how the player values work? I mean what makes them go up or down?? And sometimes they increase very rapidly and sometimes slowly for no reason.

You take my current game. Take Robin Van Persie for example. I've got his squad status as "indispensable" because he really is for me. Now, I'm in March of season 1. So far his stats for me are:

Played : 31
Goals : 35
Assists: 16
MoM's : 16
Average: 8.16
Yellows: 3
Reds : 0

He starts the game with a value of 8M. Now, in March, his value is only 12.5M? Whats going on there?

Compare that to Adebayor who starts with a value of 6M or 7M. His value now is 12M. His stats:

Played : 25
Goals : 16
Assists: 12
MoM's : 6
Average: 7.72
Yellows: 0
Reds : 0

He's doubled his value playing less, scoring less, assisting less and having a lesser AR?? Wtf?? Adebayor has a squad status of "important first team player".

Neither of them have played even a single match in cup competitions. Just the premier league and the champions league. No FA Cup matches & no Carling Cup matches for either of them.

I'm happy Ade's value is going up rapidly but I cant understand why Robin's is not shooting up! You'd think with those kind of numbers he's be worth 20M+ by now ffs.

And the most ridiculous thing happened back on Jan 1st. Robin was tearing sides apart in the league and CL as well. Adebayor was doing well too but not as much. But when the "striker of the year" award was announced on Jan 1, Adebayor won and RVP wasnt even in the top 3??? How the hell does that work then? There's no question of scoring in important matches or anything because although I cant remember the exact numbers, I know they were both equally as good in the big matches. I'm happy for Ade but its stupid the RVP wasnt even acknowledged. And then Aguero won player of the year when he wasnt close to scoring as many as RVP was.

Does anyone know how the hell this works? Because its really annoying me now. I'd bought Briand for 12M at the start of the season and now 21(8) matches, 36 goals, 10 assists and 7 MoM's later, his value is still 12M??? Annoying to say the least.

I dont mind it so much in players like Robin or Briand as I'm not even thinking of selling these guys. But there are some others who I want to sell and they're doing well in my team but their value increases very slowly, if at all.
