Hey, im Southampton, in first season and in need for excellent players to outclass the division so i can then be promoted to the prem, money isnt a problem as ive sold some players and done budget adjustment etc. So please can anyone reccommend players which will be suited for the championship and then the premiership.

torje(RM), stancu(st), sepsi(lb), and lots of other players from romaina a couple defenders i can't remeber the name of, and ronald raldes(bolivan) you should get all of those players for around 300-700k each i have them in my saints team doin ok in the prem in my second season but they all rip it up in the championship

You can get Piatti fairly cheap if you offer him a bunch of cash and a non-promotion / relegation release clause. Also Doudin (Swiss), who takes a while to settle but will score for fun in the Championship. Shane Sherrif is a good back L/CB. If you can get Ibrahim Tall from a Scottish club he verges on god-like ability at RB in the Champ (7.80 avg as a near ever-present, and can cover at CB if needed).

Danny Haynes on loan is a good bet, and a lot of Liverpool players are also available on loan - Jack Hobbs, etc. Other good loanees are defender Edgar from Newcastle , as well as Carroll (ST). Campbell (ST) from Man U, among others. Actually, pretty much anyone from the "big 4" reserves. I took Connolly (CB) from Arsenal and he's got the 6th highest Championship player rating in my current game (March 09).

If your scouts are able to leave England, send one to Sweden and Finland - plenty of bargains to be had there, but don't give them too much in wages; they don't usually hack it in the Prem and it's hard to sell them if their wages are too high. For this type of player I usually sign them on a two-year deal with lowest wages I can manage.

I am also Southampton, i have signed Nemeth (Liverpool loan), Eagles (Man Yoo loan), Almeyda free (Saffri is sh!t), Kieran Lee man Utd and another CB form Romania who is awesome.

Im currently top of the championship start of Jan (75% of my goals scored by Stern John!) lost to Liverpool in LC awating FA cup.

does nemeth and john work well as a partnership i could never get stern to score regulary i had stancu and saga up front an used stern as a sub. i found safri played better than almeyda neither of them can cut in the prem tho.

In my game sagawotshis name is injure foir ages. I sold B W-P (error as 50% dissapears!)

I am playing John and Rasiak up front, Rasiak wins all the headers and misses all the one on ones and Stern JOhn comes in and clears up.

Nemeth is mainly used as a sub and cover, popping up with the useful couple of goals.

Safri has been dire for me. I think Almeyda works for me as he is simply in the DMC role.

tbh, i couldn't stand looking at Safri's ugly mug so his in the reserves!

same reason why i sold viafara i jus dnt like him. i also sold BWP for monthly installments and keept all the money.
