I'm in mid-Season 3 with Barcelona and VDV & Huntelaar's contracts are expiring in 6 months.

VDV wants 100K p/w [and 50K p/match the greedy pig]
Huntelaar wants 82K p/w

Should I sign then and then sell them for profit, or are they worth keeping for that much on wages?

It really depends, if you are looking to get them free when there contract expires to sell them then fine but personelly I don't see the point. If you are looking to have them in your squad as backups or even key starters there are not bad players to have at all even better they are free. Its personel pref tho some peolpe dont rate Huntelaar or VDV that much..

No, thats a ridiculous salary they are asking for. Dont get them yet. With those demands, they might not find any club willing to take them on. So as the season draws to a close, their demands will go down and will eventually reach a point where they are reasonable (unless someone agrees to sign them up). Get them then. If they dont reduce the demands, then forget about them. VDV is a flop after the final patch as its difficult to score free kicks and long range shots and thats what he's best at. And you'll find plenty of better strikers than Huntelaar.

Ah. Yeah I've never had Huntelaar. I don't use targetmen. I've heard he's good though.

And VDV did good for my Newcastle team once.

But yeah, I'll wait until near the end of the season.

I had a chance too sign VDV but he wanted a huge salary so I rejected him and stuck with my team
