Sorry but im absolutely p***** off. Ive been dying to start a new leeds game but im not starting until i have the new patch. Everywhere ive searched the patches havent worked. Or if i have found a place to download from the patches have taken so long to download that they have cancelled. Where did everyone download their patch from?

I had the same problem, it is in the General Discussion forum,

Tells you all the updates on the patch aswell.

cheers lads, downloading the 2nd link now. How long did it take for you guys to download the file, looks like mines going to take hours.

am i just stupid or is anyone else having this problem. I just downloaded the new patch but cant get it onto my game.

Im in CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\data\db

and i have a picture of coloured books named FM2008_8.0.1_Patch...

once i right click on it, it says extract to FM2008_8.0.1_Patch\ so i click that and it brings out a new normal looking file...FM2008_8.0.1_Patch


i start my new game and nothing seems to have worked? what am i doing wrong

alright man united mate long time no see i downloaded the patch ages ago i would of e-mailed you it but my emails knackered for some reason

man united when i downloaded the patch i just poened it and then pressed update then when i went to started a new game i had theoption to choose 8.01
