On a more serious note, I've found the best way to avoid getting unrealistic *offers* (I know you dont have to take them) is to start as a nationality from a different part of the world. In my current save I started as American, and only after 5 seasons at Cowdenbeath, and a rep move from obscure to local, AND getting Scottish second nationality, did I start to get offers- Peterborough in League 2 was the first, then I started getting linked with other Scottish clubs.

Chairman... "He's quite well known but he is Slovenian"

Does the reference to 'Decent Club' rule out this actually happening at a Slovenian club? You would like to think they know where Slovenia is!!
