Default Everybody else is doing it... so why can't we?

Started unemployed and after one month was given the Exeter helm...

No, not really, but I thought I should add this to wind up Kostis.

Save started the day 5.0.2 87 hit the shelves. France, Italy, Poofland and Spain as playable leagues on huge. Conference South the starting point and Bishop's Stortford the team Frank wisely allocated me to.

Season 2004/05: 1st in Conference South, Bishop's Stortford.

8 freebies brought in due to semi-decent scouting and a polivalent forward who can't stop scoring see us somehow take profit from the big guys fumbling and wrap up promotion on the very last day.

Cups? We all know they suck arse, so who gives a damn about what I did in those?

Season 2005/06: 15th in Conference National, Bishop's Stortford.

Relegation dogfight we were tipped for and relegation struggle it would be all the season. We kept barely above the drop zone, but didn't secure a Conference National spot until matchday #41.

Our reserves managed to put some decent displays in the Cups (3rd round in the Cup, where we met a non-descript League One team, and a thrilling 4th round with Conference National leaders Morecambe), this run, coupled with 2 years of keeping the wage bill under control, means we will have 550k lined up for the next season.

(Let's hope the board improves the minefield they call training facilities with it )

PS: Let me tell you lot that this Brody lad is really a Poof!!!

Season 2006/07: 8th in Conference National. Bishop's Stortford

We started slowly. Not losing much but neither winning at all. A Mystic revelation (in the form of a new tactic and finally understanding how the heck do sliders work) saw us rise through the table and made us look better, specially away.

High hopes for next season, specially if we manage to keep this form.

Kind draws in the early rounds of the FA Cup saw us advance as far as 4th round, where we met Man Citeh. They trashed us thoroughly (5-0), but the 445k from gate receipts might come handy for next year. Form in the other cup was non-descript.

:o I almost forgot!

That was the season we turned pro. We were almost taxed and othered to oblivion, but thanks to the FA Cup 4th round income we managed to make some money on the seasonal balance.

A side effect of turning pro is that all of my 14 first teamers want improved deals I can't match.

Let's hope the board remembers to improve the training facilities this time, as although they had agreed for last season they most conveniently forgot to do so.
