Season 2.

I was told to achieve mid table mediocrity which I failed to do..

I brought in two players for a total of 14K as back-ups really, a D/M RC and a D/M LC. One ended up in the team and one sat on the bench all season.

My midfield had three excellent players and found myself struggling to keep the. My board said I'm still 6k over wage budget and I need to make changes.

A few big clubs start circling around my midfield and I decide to sell if I get a big enough offer. Eventually Pompey come in with a GBP750K offer and my Left winger is off.

I go out to Forest and Bolton in the cups which makes us a bit of money, coupled with the player sale sees us 1M in the black for the season.

With 3 games to go I'm 7 points clear of Cambridge and already promoted but it all goes arse over t!t then.

We loose 3 regulars to injury and 3 more to suspension and I lose all remaining games and Cambridge pip me to the title.

Worse still, Poofland beat Krautland in the World Cup final 0-4.

Division 1 next year
