Ever been to a game? Ever seen call you disagreed with? FM is just like real life, the Assistants Referee or the Referee just saw it different than you did. Remember, it is all in how the Referee sees the game not you.

The match officials in FM never make a mistake with offsides.

It's those shoddy cheap 2D TV cameras that make the forward look five yards onside :p

Been on a match or two . And I must say I never saw 10 so strange offsides in the live match, then I did in the match. Two three perhaps, but 10 or even more? I don't thnik so.

It happens at the top level too. Against Man City, I think, one of the Norwich strikers was given offside on an occasion that he was not only 2 or 3 yards onside of the defender, but was in his own half when the ball was struck. AssRefs still give it when it's received rather than when it's kicked.

I've seen a lot of those "miles onside" flags in FM. Often it happens when the SC is backing into a defender to hold up a through ball, so I wonder if it's just giving the wrong infringement code, and it should be a foul?

Hmmm. If you're refering to the ex-Man City Canary, he is ALWAYS offside, to the extent that I don't think he understands the rule.

In FM, offside errors seem to affect both sides, so stop whining!

Nope. It was our ex-Peterborough man. Worst offside decision I've ever seen, frankly.

If our luck ever starts to even out, our defenders will start scoring with hopeful punts up the pitch, or the guy you're referring to will just have to stand in the box and wait for it to bounce in off his arse.
