I was under the impression that the biggest stadium you could get from the lower leagues was around 8000. Last season Lamb Ground was expanded to about 8700. I figured it wasn't so much over, so okay. The regular summertime action commensed. Me asking for expansion, board wouldn't have it. But it still got expanded, it will be around 11900 once completed. Of course I was a mighty happy camper, but is this normal?
CM 03/04 btw. From what I remember it should be possible to get expansions in FM outside the database value, if successful enough.

In 03/04, my Barnet's Underhill was expanded to 11k+ seats in the Premiership, but i didn't stick around to find out if it could be expanded more.
IIRC, there's something like an "extraordinary success" factor in CM/FM, which will allow you to expand the stadium even further than the max capacity limit. It was there on CM, i haven't had any extraordinary success with LL clubs in FM yet.

I thought that was new for FM. And yes, I haven't been terribly succesful before..
Will be interesting to see if it's possible to get it expanded even more then.

It all depends on the ground and it's surroundings Pangaea. Some non league grounds can expand a lot if the club becomes big enough.
Back in my Billericay 01/02 adventure, New Lodge was up to 22,500 all seated by the time I was sacked.
The Lamb is hemmed in on three sides by roads and housing, but the fourth side has nothing but wasteland behind it, so there is room for expansion on that side.

Potensial for a funny-looking stadium then. 30k on one side, and 5k on the rest.
Probably not that detailed in the game, but will be interesting to see if it will expand more in the coming two years. If it hasn't happened by then, it probably never will.
Now if only the bluescreens and saving problems would pish off |

Hopefully the directors at Vauxhall Motors have enough money to fund ground improvements at their little club on my game :fingers crossed hopes for the best:

You need quite a lot of money. IIRC I had about 2.5M in First Division, or Championship now, but didn't get expansion untill I reached Premier League.
It's easier to win Champions League with a LL Welsh side than to go bankrupt in PL...
GL, hope your board is on your side |
