Don't mind him. Kostis just fancies himself the master of the 6-5 win. And often three of his goals come in added time to miraculously win.

Pandurii Tirgu Jiu Romanian 1st Division

Despite an increas in expectations from the board and the fans I have had no increase in funds and no increase in our wage limit. We have also lost our star striker who wouldn't sign a new contract and left in the summer to go and play for Celtic on almost as much money as my entire squad.Because I can't pay top flight wages I am unable to bring in any decent players and decide to stick with last seasons squad. I predict a struggle

We start ok but by the half way stage we are bottom of the division and 5 points adrift. We are still leaking goals but unlike last season we aren't scoring.

With 3 games until the winter break I Re-jig my tatctic with some effect and we go 3 games unbeaten, picking up 5 points. With less goals going in I was confident of at least getting us out of relegation trouble in the spring.

It was not to be. During the winter break Poli AEK Timisoara, lanquishing in 12th, sack their manager and think I'm the ideal replacement. An £8,000,000 transfer fund (Pandurii have £120,000) and a room to expand on a wage bill of £44,000 (Panduriis is £11,000) make the gap in resources obvious and I just couldn't turn the offer down.

Bravo, it's all about the romanian division (Divizia Ursus)!!

i wish i was brave enough to start off with such a team (am currently head honcho at chelski) but eventually i will. I can just about imagine the rolling hills surrounding the playing ground, the fans' chants, and the overall cheapness of my native land from your descriptions.

Poli AEK Timisoara First Division

Inherited a load of rubbish. First job was to transfer list a large chunk of the squad. NOt many happy faces but I'm not here to win friends. Managed to bring in a couple of decent midfielders before the transfer window closed and off loaded some of the worst players for small sums. Didn't have any wide midfielders so got a couple of unsigned kids in who I wasn't sure about but at least they played in the right places.

The rest of the season was just about good enough, won a few, lost a few, drew a lot. Gathered enough pints to keep us up and that was all that mattered because with my bidget 2nd division football would have meant financial ruin pretty quick.

The summer will be spent getting rid of all those who aren't good enough or don't fit in. Hopefully my scouts will turn up some dent talent and I can start rebuilding.
