It looks as if the going up before our reputation grows has really hit us hard this season.

The very same scouts who last year produced 45-50 players when scouting Poofland and 15-20 when scouting the other home nations, have all of a sudden dried up. Completely.
Of the 6 monthly searches done with our 3 scouts, they have unearthed a grand totale of 0 players!!!!
What's wrong with them?! I mean, I understand that they can have some failed assignement, but where have all the players they found last season gone?

I got the opposite problem. Having taken Cowndenbeath to Div I, my scouts are still finding plenty of players problem is :
"Irvine Meadow youngster Willie Lump Lump would make a good signing for the team"
yeah, right. The 20 year old with no technical abilities is playing on the reserve squad of a junior league side. Useless. They can't seem to grasp the level of the club, including wages allowed.

Actually, it seems to be getting worse in every new version.
I recently lost some matches because the PC crashed (). A scout search that had begun before the crash revealed the exact same players - no matter what the result of the game or how good their performance was. That leads me to believe that the results of the search are pre-determined, which is also a bit stupid.
SI claim it's been tweaked for the next patch. Of course it needs more than a tweak I reckon. Still it might be better- it certainly can't get much worse
On the rare occaision a player is found, i get some really s**ty Welsh player, with all 1's and 2's
