Who the hell are you? Who are you to tell LLM's what they can and can't do? Moose may be there to be ordered about, but we're not

Welcome to LLM, btw

It's okay, you are our least favourite mod by a mile.

That'll teach me to read properly, thought you'd said "they don't matter as much to me."

Original sentiment is still valid though :p

Damcyan, bear in mind that a moose in Scotland eats cheese and lives in your walls...

Michal, I'm honoured by your observation

So what do the Scottish call what we Canadians call a moose then?

Ours are animals bigger than horses and the males have large antlers. They tend to eat the local vegetation, but will sometimes invade your garden for a treat. They make night driving hazardous as vehicles that strike them tend to get crushed. If you are a fan of big game hunting, they are great.

That'll be the Reindeer then, a distant cousin to the wild haggis.

No, the Scottish Raindeer (I spelt it wrong) is a shy character. Appears occassionally through the mists of the highlands. Huge beasties. Sometimes you here them in the spring hooting.
