As a former student of Lancaster University myself and also playing FM as Lancaster, I think you should know that leaving Lancaster for Morecambe is considered treason in many parts and punishable by hanging. And that would be too good for you.

My brief history is that I was

Promoted from Conference North 2005
Relegated from Conforence National 2007
Promoted fron Conference North again 2008

Then joyously

Promoted from Conference National 2011.

Currently in my second season in League 2. The date is 9/2/2013 and I am currently 12th. 9 points away from a playoff place with 12 games left, no money and going way over budget on my wages. The board already forked out 160k to keep me afloat and they may have to do so again soon unless I can get someone to buy my best player who is valued at 400k but noone seems to want him and I don't really want to lose him.

I would get one of my strikers to shoot him but they would most likely aim high and miss.

Apologies for the lateness of this update:

06/07 Mid Season Update

A very solid start to the season for Morcambe. The back end of last season + a summer of rebuilding allowed the team to be narrowed down to 12-14 vying for regular first team footie and 3 or 4 making up the squad. With playoffs the goal we find ourselves top at the midway point, 4 points clear and hopefull for at least a playoff campaign.

League: 1st In Conference North (21 Games Played)
FAC: Out In QR3
FAT: Out In R1

A season that was so nearly glorious for Morcambe turned to heartache.

We missed out on top spot by a single goal on GD, playing the top team last day of the season and needing a win we drew 1-1, their keeper getting a 10

Playoff sucess over Barrow in the ECN Semi Final on penalties, then was followed by defeat in the final 3-0 by Northwich.

Overall im happy with the efforts of the team, the squad is a small but effective unit and has the potential to win the division easily, however my services were courted by several league two clubs last season and facing another season in ECN i may just take one of them.

Morcambe 2006/2007
League: 2nd ECN
FAC: 3QR
FAT R1
