another xmas gift the girlfriend regrets buying me...
5th season in and my girlfriend is regretting ever giving me this game.
Started unemployed as a 52 year old spanish manager, 6 months in and greenock morton come a knocking at my villa door.
not an easy club as no assitant manager, but i managed to win the league and some cup in fisrt season
second season missed promotion on the last day of the season due to goal difference but backed up and won the same cup as previous season.
third season, third last with three games to go, out of all cups in round 1 and sacked. i brought that club 2 cups and a title and look at the thanks i get.
Unemployed again and finally get offered the Peterborough job. 6 games left and sitting 8 pts out of playoff spot i re-jigged the tactics and managed to scrape in by a point. First semi-final win 1-0 (forgot who) and then the come from nowhere win over barnsley 4-3. Down 3-0 at half time and knocking back beers watching a nightmare unfold before my eyes. Time to attack me thinks. Change tactic to all out attack and score the winner in the 92nd minute.
Fifth season in and struggling mid table with 10 games gone....
c'mon the posh!

FM for offering jobs is very unrealistic. You have to ask yourself would it be realistic for Morton to offer a spanish unknown manager a job? I think not.
And please stop naming tactics before I start handing out warnings.

As a rule, we'd usually recommend to start a game with a team in the lowest possible league available, although a newbie LLaMa may well start a level up, just to get the hang of it.
However, LLM is more about the spirit in which the game is played, rather than the team you start with. It's just most regulars here would never dream of starting in Div 2 of the Scottish leagues.

Well done. Morton aren't lower league though.

What is the cut off point for LLM? </BLOCKQUOTE>
As a rule of thumb I'd say the lowest league, or Div 3 in Scotland. To start a campaign I mean; you can be a LLaMa managing Celtic in the SPL if you got the job honestly after beginning at the bottom.
That's my view, but I don't make the rules

OK, just took the first job, figured that would be LLM.

That's not your view, that's Ian's view from a long time ago.
